Many years ago I made the decision to garden only with indigenous plants and plant exotics if they are edible. Since 2016 I have also been involved with restoring the ecosystem on an old dairy farm. Plant identification has become key to this effort. I enjoy outings with the Custodians of Rare and Endangered Wildflowers group and various birding groups.
