I am a Professor of Conservation Biology at Warren Wilson College. I study high-elevation mammal species and their response to land use and climate change, including the American pika (Ochotona princeps), the Appalachian cottontail (Sylvilagus obscurus), and the eastern spotted skunk (Spilogale putorius).
