Observations and collections, in reverse temporal order:

2007-present: Multitaxa inventory in the Reserva Comunal El Sira, along the steep windward slopes of the northern cordillera El Sira transect ~300-2100 m): Plants, vascular and bryophytes, some lichens; Camera trapping -primarily larger mammals; Collection of arthropods and insects, including malaise trapping along the environmental gradient, collection of moss cushion arthropods (berlese funnel) and hand netting of native bees; trapping of arboreal and terrestrial rats and marsupials,, mist netting of bats, 10 meter square sampling of amphibians and reptiles; monitoring of understory bird (>1000 net captures along the environmental gradient).

2003: Vascular plant inventory of the Upper Utiquinia River and exploration of volcanic uplands along the headwaters of the Utiquinia and Abujao Rivers. (now Parque Nacional Sierra del Divisor)

1997-2002: Botanical and ethnobotanical investigation on the Upper Purus River watershed among the Cashinahua (now Reserva Conunal Purus)
