The featured speaker at Yolo Audubon’s Jan. 17 meeting is Bob Meese, one of the leading experts on tricolored blackbirds. He has worked with the species for 13 years and will present a summary of his research, including a review of their natural history and remarkable breeding biology.
The Yolo Audubon meeting will run from 7:30 to 9 p.m. at the Davis Senior Center, 646 A St. It is open to the public, and attendees are invited to arrive at 7 p.m. for conversation and refreshments.
