Adrian, who splits his time between Los Angeles and Joshua Tree, is in fact a bird lover and an acclaimed fine artist. He and his wife, also an artist, travel extensively to study birds in the wild that he then paints in acrylic on wood panels. Once complete, titles are added that imagine the creatures’ inner monologues, ranging from the fiendish to the plain absurd.
