California condors: Chick born in wild flies from nest at Pinnacles National Park for first time in a century.
An endangered California condor chick that hatched in the wild successfully took flight from a nest at Pinnacles National Park last week for the first time since the 1890s. The bird, known as #828, is shown here with her father, known as #340.
