LMNNE's Bioblitz at J. C. "Sonny" Gilbert WMA, 7/20/24

The Louisiana Master Naturalist Northeast mounted an expedition to the J. C. "Sonny" Gilbert WMA in the Sicily Island Hills on July 20, 2024.

The quotation of the day was from Kimmie who had just passed out of sight over the brow of a hill the path was scaling: " Snake! There's a snake coming right towards you!" just before a Masked Racer shot over the brow of the hill straight for us and then quick as a flash, flew off the path and into a brush pile to our right.
