How to join this Project

Some folks are not used to iNaturalist, and are unsure how to join this Project so their Observations will show up.

Here's how to join:

1. Log in to iNaturalist from a browser, not the app, with your iNat user name or email.
2. Go to the New York Master Naturalists Project home page.
3. Click the Join button in the upper right:
4. Scroll to the bottom, check/select Receive updates from this project, then click the Yes, I want to join button.
5. INat returns you to the Project page.

To confirm you were successful:

• Visit the Members Page and find your iNat user name.
• If you already have iNat Observations in NY, look at the list of Observers and find your iNat user name.

If you have any questions or issues, please send me a message on iNaturalist, or leave a comment on this Journal Post, describing the problem. That way I'll have your iNat user name and can investigate.
