Arctostaphylos crustacea. Indentified by very specific red/brown bark, external moss growth, the size of the overall plant, and the leaf shape and feel.

Description
Although "Albus" translates as "White," Calochortus albus can vary in color from pure white to creamy white to various shades of pink. This was the first occurrence I have seen it with deep garnet red colored flowers.

Description
This Delphinium-like flower was growing near the base of a waterfall. Somewhat vine-y, quite distinctive. So far I haven't found any good matches.
