Well, trike ride; it was rainy and I want to sit. The gull was observed while I was waiting for the bus.
Heard some frogs and some birds I'm not equipped to identify, and I learned those little "ferny things" are in fact flixweed, an introduced species.
Seemed too small to be a beaver. Also included is a shot of where it disappeared.
Some kind of skeeter eater in a spider's web.
A very happy patch of clover.
Some deer grazing in a horse pasture, with one member of the herd on the wrong side of the fence.
Heard along the canal, fairly close to the road (as you can hear by the roar of passing cars).
This is focused on those periodic "beep" or "bell" sounds. I don't know what bird it might be.
This one's focused on that faint "hoo-hoo-hoo" sound. It's on the tip of my brain. The voice reminds me of a mourning dove, but looking them up this doesn't match any of their call patterns?
